''The legend goes like this; On Jan.5, 1989, a man and woman having an affair left their spouses to meet in secret. They parked along Sugar Flat Road near Lebanon. On the way home in the darkness two figures crossed their speeding path and the man's truck hit one of the figures. He stopped to see what he had run over and found that it looked like nothing he had ever seen before. He dragged the creature to the side of the road and covered it with leaves and debris. The following morning he returned. He dug a grave for the creature but severed its head to take to the taxidermist. It now sits in the window of Cuz's Antique Store on the square in Lebanon.''
