William Barnes will forever be known as the man behind the failed [[Falcon Project]], in which dirigibles were to be flown over the Pacific Northwest with thermal cameras searching for Bigfoot. It was all a pipe dream as the house of cards came tumbling down for the many who contributed money to the project and for those who were tricked into joining the supposed ground team only to find there was no supplies or financing to keep them going in the field.

To this day, William Barnes laid all the blame on others, instead of fessing up and bearing the responsibility that he tricked a lot of people into believing in the project. Luckily, no one got hurt or killed on the ground team when they found themselves abandoned in the field.

William continues to go to Bigfoot groups and message boards bragging about his latest research projects, all the while, expecting a free pass where the Falcon Project is concerned, after all, it wasn't his fault according to him.
