D.W. Lee is a [http://www.dwlee.us noted author of Bigfoot books], the [http://www.bigfootfieldguide.com Bigfoot Field Guide] media outlets, and the Executive Director of the [http://www.mabrc.com Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center]. Beginning in 1991, D.W. (Who also goes by Darkwing) started researching into the Bigfoot phenomenon by traveling to Fouke, Arkansas and staying several days searching for the Fouke Monster (a.k.a. Boggy Creek Monster). In 1998 he started Green Country Bigfoot Research Center and it attracted many members from outside the state of Oklahoma where Green Country was located, so the name was changed to Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center to more appropriately represent the growing membership.

He also is the driving force behind the annual [http://www.okbigfootsymposium.com Oklahoma Bigfoot Symposium] held in Stilwell, OK every year on the second weekend of March.
