David Paulides authored a book entitled The Hoopa Project: Bigfoot Encounters In California (2008). He is a former police investigator with over 30 years experience. Paulides based the book on a 3-year investigation of bigfoot sightings he undertook within the Hoopa Reservation, located in Northern California. He maintains a website1 based on his research and claims to have a team of researchers who investigate sightings in Northern California and Southern Oregon. He continues to write with the popular Missing 411 books. David has alienated many in the community with his brash bragging that he is the only professional Bigfoot researcher due to being paid by undisclosed benefactors.
