One of the tactics the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center has used to attract Bigfoot in getting close enough to have an encounter is what is called “The Crying Baby”.  This is playing a recording of a baby crying out in the woods, please note, we didn’t make the baby cry in the recording, this was done by someone else online.  Predators are attracted to the sounds of juvenile animals, including humans, and it seems to attract Bigfoot too.

The MABRC doesn’t want to put a human baby at risk, so playing the recording from inside a tent, or even the back of a truck, is used and played for an extended time.  I’ve personally had success with this, as one night, my son and I were out in one of the research areas at night, and played the recording.  Above us on the ridgeline, we heard something come crashing down the hillside towards where the vehicle was sitting.  As the creator of the noise reached the road, the white bigfoot in our area stepped out onto the road about 100 feet away from us, glared at us, then turned around and headed back up the hillside.  I’ll never forget the words my son spoke as he leaned over to me and whispered, “We ain’t trying the crying baby CD again.”

Most predators seem to focus in on a baby crying in the woods, and it's been discovered that Bigfoot tends to come near a crying baby per the research of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center. This is the audio file of a baby crying that the MABRC researchers use in a loop on an audio CD or recorder and plays to attract Bigfoot. They are making it available here for others to use.

Another incident occurred south of Honobia, where another researcher, my grandson and myself were sitting on a ridge on a moonless night, blasting away with the crying baby recording, when we had vocalizations on the ridges on either side of us responded. Within 30 minutes, you could hear large animals coming up the side of the ridge we were on. Erring on the side of caution, we moved on down the ridge, since we had my grandson with us, although he had been researching Bigfoot since he was in diapers, we didn’t want to have several Bigfoot come up on us in the dark.

If you use the crying baby tactic, be prepared for not just a Bigfoot, but other predators to come upon you, and it isn’t for the faint of heart, listening to a baby cry in the dark can unnerve a lot of folks.
