FOREWORD
"Hello, I’m Todd Partain, The Director of "Eyes In The Dark: The Sasquatch Experience" This is a very personal project for me due to my own frightening childhood experience.
I was shocked to discover how well my hip-pocket funded documentary is doing. I am not a scientist or an expert on BigFoot, just an ordinary guy with a job and a family to support.
Halfway through the making of this film I was diagnosed with cancer, I survived chemotherapy with the love and prayers of family and friends, and with a passion to finish this project, Sasquatch saved my life, for now.
I plan to use the proceeds from this video to continue to make documentaries about these events as long as I am physically able, and to benefit Chimp Haven here in NorthWest Louisiana. Thank You for taking the time to stop by."
Sincerely, Todd Partain
SYNOPSIS
In 1975, five year old Todd Partain and his family were terrorized when some unknown creature attacked the isolated trailer home they were staying in on a dark Arkansas Mountainside above the Caddo River. See the story as told by the people who were there. The Partain Family relates the Arkansas Trailer Siege at Caddo Gap, Arkansas in 1975 That Started Todd’s Bigfoot Obsession when he was 5 years old.Included are interviews with Bob Strain, Scott "Squatching" Herriott, Ken Gerhard, Joedy Cook, "Cryptid" author Eric Penz, Mike Hall, Rick Noll, Loren Coleman, and Special Thanks to Loren Coleman for his encouragement.
Scott Herriott, his obsession with Sasquatch led to a face to face encounter that left the film maker and comedian without a punch line.
Rick Noll, one of the most respected researchers in the field, his detailed analysis of the environment proves that North America can easily support a giant hominid. See the amazing story of the "Skookum Cast", which may be imprint of a Sasquatch lying on it’s side.
Mike Hall, what he saw in the Texas forest made him a true believer.
Bob Strain, this lifelong outdoorsman shares his multiple brushes with the elusive creatures, including the moment he almost shot one with a high powered rifle when he mistook it for a bear.
Ken Gerhard, This colorful cryptid hunter has explored the amazon for elusive "proto-pygmies"
Loren Coleman, he has spent his life documenting strange creatures and events.
Bonus: behind the scenes footage of the now famous "garage" costume* and the man who brought Sasquatch to life, Tiger Augustine.
The costume made for the re-enactment scenes in the film by Todd Partain in his garage is now on loan to the Phoenix Theatre Troupe in New York City for use in the play "On The Verge". Afterwards, it will come under the care of cryptozoologist author Loren Coleman and be placed in his cryptozoology museum.
This no-budget documentary film attains cult classic status.
