Bobby Hamilton is the founder and proprietor of the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization (GCBRO), which he established in 1997. Hamilton is a vocal proponent of the "pro-kill" camp of bigfoot researchers, believing that only a specimen can serve to convince the scientific community that an undocumented primate exists in North America. In 2003 Hamilton spoke at the Texas Bigfoot Conference in Jefferson, Texas. He discussed his investigation of Danny Sweeten, of Clearwater, Texas, and two videotapes of what Sweeten claimed was a bigfoot. Hamilton's conclusion was that the first of the videos might be legitimate, but that the second video was probably a hoax.
Later years have seen Bobby and the GCBRO featured in a one season run of a show titled "Killing Bigfoot" that has drawn a lot of controversy between no-kill proponents.
