Chris Murphy is a bigfoot author who collaborated with John Green and Thomas Steenburg on the book Meet the Sasquatch (2004). He also added to the book written by Roger Patterson (Do Abominable Snowmen of America Really Exist?) calling it The Bigfoot Film Controversy (2005), in which Murphy attempts, in part, to refute claims presented by Greg Long in The Making of Bigfoot: The Inside Story (2004) to the effect that the Patterson-Gimlin film showed a man in a costume.
Murphy was also responsible for curating a major sasquatch exhibit at the Vancouver Museum in 2004. It was also entitled Meet the Sasquatch.
