Mary Green is an author of two books, "Fifty Years With Bigfoot: Tennessee Chronicles of Co-Existence" and "Bigfoot at my Door."
Green has been a bigfoot researcher since 1996. Her interest started when she began to believe that odd occurrences on her family's property in Tennessee were bigfoot related. At first she didn't believe her children when they told her stories of a "wild hairy man," but when her oldest daughter, Cindy, had her blackberries stolen, Mary began an investigation. According to her book "Bigfoot at my Door," the Greens have been terrorized by multiple bigfoot creatures since 1961.
Mary, through her acquaintance with Janice Carter-Coy left her with an indelible black eye in the Bigfoot Community that she never quite recovered from.
Tennessee Bigfoot author Mary Alayne Green has died on March 17, 2016, at about 4 PM EDT in the place she was to call home, Tennessee.
