Al DeAtley is brother-in-law to Roger Patterson, he is married to Roger Patterson's sister, Iva.
DeAtley part-funded Roger Patterson's expeditions, and arranged for the Patterson-Gimlin film to be developed. It was in his home that the film was first projected.
Albert DeAtley, 85, passed from complications of stroke on Monday evening, October 21, 2019 at 10:22 pm surrounded by family and his loving wife, Pat DeAtley.
