John A. Bindernagel, Ph.D., is a Canadian wildlife biologist. He has been interested in the bigfoot phenomenon since 1963 and has been seriously researching the subject since 1975. He is the author of "North America's Great Ape: The Sasquatch" (1998). It is widely considered to be one of the best books available on the subject of sasquatch biology.
Bindernagel has been featured on bigfoot-related television programs such as Best Evidence: Bigfoot, On the Trail of Bigfoot, MonsterQuest, Southern Fried Bigfoot, and Cryptid Hunt.
It is with great sadness we report the passing of Dr. John Bindernagel (b. 1941) on January 17, 2018. John was a wildlife biologist who made significant contributions to the field of sasquatch studies.
