LeRoy Fish

LeRoy Fish, Ph.D., (b. 1943, d. 2002) was an Oregon-based wildlife ecologist. He served as a curator in the BFRO for several years prior to his death.

Fish was a member of a September 2000 BFRO-sponsored expedition to Skookum Meadow, near Mt. St. Helens in Washington state, that resulted in the observation and casting of a possible sasquatch body impression. The Skookum Cast has been proclaimed by some scientists as one of the most compelling pieces of evidence in support of the existence of an undocumented large bipedal primate living in North America.
