This group now appears to be defunct.

The UBRG formed on July sixth in 2006 as a multi-state group of researchers whose main goal was to Support members performing research in the field and elsewhere to document findings, compare research techniques, and generally improve researching capabilities. With over seventy active members, we are growing at a very slow rate in order to assure that this goal is not forgotten in a rush for numbers. Growing slowly and solidly, our membership extends from Florida to Michigan, from Virginia to Colorado, and some overseas memberships as well.

The United Bigfoot Research Group is strictly a NO KILL organization. We do not advocate harming one of these creatures for any reason whatsoever, and limit our membership strictly to those that share this position.
