Scott McClean, a southern California resident, is known for his extensive compilations of historic newspaper articles possibly pertaining to sasquatch observations. The "Big News Prints" and "Strange Howls" collections of early American stories are available for download at McClean's website, mcclean.org (No longer active). These accounts of animal encounters were collected from Library of Congress online archives. McClean is a member of the Alliance of Independent Bigfoot Researchers.
Sadly Scott passed away January 30, 2013, due to cancer.
