The Minerva Monster is a Bigfoot-like creature that is said to reside around Minerva, Ohio. It was first encountered in 1978 by the Cayton family. The Minerva Monster is described to be around 7 feet tall, 300 lbs, and covered in thick fur. The creature reportedly threw rocks at their home from the old mine that was behind their house. Howe Cayton also had reported that the mysterious creature killed their pet German Shepherd.
