(Audio) Wood knocking
Wood knocking (also known as tree knocking) is defined as the sound created by two pieces of wood being hit together in order to create a loud noise. Such sounds have long been alleged to be caused by the sasquatch as a method of communication with others of its kind. Many researchers claim that, by creating their own wood knocking sounds in the field, they can illicit a response from a bigfoot. Those questioning the existence of the behavior correctly state that no eye witnesses have ever seen a bigfoot beating on a tree or otherwise creating such a sound.
This is a series of wood knocks that were collected several years ago on a MABRC Expedition, they were combined but came from over 5 minutes of wood knocks just within minutes of the drop box was left, no sooner did the last of the 4 wheeler engine noise was subsiding when the wood knocks started. This occurred in Oklahoma. Speculation is that the Bigfoot were notifying each other that the team was leaving and that the coast was clear.
