Jeffery Wells is the author of Bigfoot in Georgia, a book that covers the history of Bigfoot sightings in Georgia, Native American legends in Georgia, chapters on selected research organizations and field researchers in Georgia, and various other material associated with the topic of Sasquatch in the state. The book is published by Pine Winds Press, a division of Idyll Arbor, of Enumclaw, Washington. It was released in 2010.
Wells is a history professor at Georgia Military College's campus in the Atlanta suburb of Fairburn. He serves as the division chair for the social and behavioral sciences division for the college and holds a B.A. in history from the University of Georgia, and a M.A. in history from Georgia College and State University. He is also the creator and main blogger at Georgia Mysteries, a blogsite about strange and weird phenomenon in Georgia.
