The photo of the footprint or handprint shown is of the so-called “Abominable Chicken Man of El Reno, Oklahoma.” The imprint was found on a chicken coop door.
The Abominable Chicken-Man walks like a gorilla, leaves hand prints like a man, rips doors off its hinges, and it likes chickens. It first appeared on the morning of December 30, 1970. Local sawmill owner Howard Dresson sighted what he said was a “chimpanzee” locally in February 1971.
