(Hoax) California Forest Fire Bigfoot Photo
This photo popped up on The Crypto Crew website sometime in December 2013, and was the second instance of this photo appearing anywhere online. It eventually was originally posted on a Japanese site around April of 2008, as shown in the Tineye photo search records screenshots to the right of the article. Here is the information related to the posting on The Crypto Crew website:

TCC - So the above photo is "reportedly" a real bigfoot? I have no idea when this event occurred. The picture looks like a phony to me.
Also included to the right are screen captures from another Japanese website that linked to the Crypto Crew website and was translated from Japanese to English by Google Translate. Notice the comment made about the PHOTO being an illustration that someone made.
In my opinion, this is nothing more than an illustration that was done to add to a story that has no real basis to it outside of the fact that California has always had forest fires. Here is a link to all known forest fires in California in 2008. The fact that no other evidence exists to support this as an authentic photo and that it's not posted anywhere else, makes this photo and the story behind it, a work of fiction. But henceforth will be labeled as a hoax.
