This image was taken by Vince Doerr, a chief of the Ochopee Fire Control District. Doerr believes that this photograph, taken in July of 1997, could show a Skunk Ape. He recalled, “It took long steps, kind of like a man, but it wasn't a bear”. Doerr claimed the creature to be at least seven feet in height with shaggy reddish-brown hair all over its body.
