(Researcher) Curt Nelson
From Squatchopedia 2.0
Curt Nelson is a senior scientist in the Department of Entomology at the University of Minnesota. He was a member of the BFRO before leaving the organization in 2005. Nelson has performed DNA analyses of tissue samples to determine possible affinities to great apes, as in the case of the Georgia bigfoot body hoax where supposed sasquatch tissue turned out to be from an opossum.
Nelson is the brother of anthropologist Reid Nelson, a former BFRO curator, who is the director of the Office of Federal Agency Programs for the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
