Jim "Biggjimm" Whitehead is the Mid America Research Center Oklahoma Director, and also is a member of several other research groups such as APES. He is located in the Crosstimbers region of central Oklahoma. He has documented quite a bit of historical and current activity. He also has experience tracking, having learned from his father, who was known as a prominent woodsmen. He often will lend his experience to footprint and cast analysis if needed. He grew up in an area with a history of activity, but actively began researching bigfoot in 2006. He has degrees in both Natural Science and Biology, and has done actual biological research over the years with known Oklahoma wildlife. He has also investigated several other cryptids as well.
