Matthew Johnson

Dr. Matthew Johnson is a clinical psychologist and a bigfoot witness/former researcher.

On July 1st, 2000, Dr. Johnson and his family (wife and three children) were on a hike in the Oregon Caves/Big Tree National Monument area in Oregon when he and his family heard a strange noise, a deep vocalization of some sort. Dr. Johnson was feeling an urge to in his words "use the bushes," and he went further up the trail to an isolated area to "take care of business." Suddenly, while scanning the trees from left to right, he saw out of the corner of his eye a large, hairy, manlike creature walking from tree to tree, stopping to watch his wife and children on the trail below. Dr. Johnson, being 6'9" tall and weighing close to 300 pounds, said this thing dwarfed him and probably measured about 9 feet tall. [citation needed]

All his familial instincts kicked in and he ran down the trail and told his family they had to leave immediately. When they got to the Snack Bar/Gift Shop area, the Johnsons gave their children some water and Johnson took his wife to the side and told her he saw bigfoot, and she told him she believed him based on the sound they had heard and the feeling of being watched. Several organizations, most notably the BFRO, investigated the incident and found Johnson's story to be credible.

Dr. Johnson became an investigator for a short time after that, and spoke at different conferences about his sighting, but soon tired and retired from research. He still maintains a family practice in Grants Pass, Oregon, and is willing to answer any questions via e-mail regarding his sighting.

Matthew has went down the rabbit hole, by claiming he rescued 10,000 alien Bigfoot known as the Xanue that lives in trees and travel around as orbs. He has totally created a "cult" around this story and continues to expand on the entire story to which it borders on insanity.
