Bigfoot Daze is an annual event sponsored by the International Bigfoot Society. It originally took place at Bigfoot Park in Carson, WA, on the last weekend in August. It started in 1992.
According to a press release issued by the IBS for the 1999 event, Bigfoot Daze features “educational seminars about this mythic creature, stilt races, a dance contest, horse shoe pitching, live music, a chili cook-off, a wedding cake competition and lots of good grub, including Bigfoot Hunter Burgers, Abominable Potato Salad, and Yeti Spaghetti. This event is free and open to the public.”
Updated to add, no longer sponsored by the International Bigfoot Society (Which is now defunct) the Willow Creek Chamber of Commerce appears to be putting on the event.
